Hi everyone! š Today I will be showcasing another great support card in the game in River Nymph. But first, let us acknowledge that it has a really great card design! š There is no wonder why this is one of the most common character to be submitted on the weekly art contest of splinterlands. It is a support card that can deam magic damage, River Nymph is a strong card on its own right! It can be used with another magic dealing monster for a powerful magical onslaught and it can also serve a a debuff remover and a very useful support monster with its Cleanse ability on level one. On level 4, it will recieve that ability Amplify, boosting the passive damage you deal against the opponent! Then lastly, at level 8, it will recieve the ability Swiftness, boosting your team's speed, allowing for an even powerful onslaught! Now, here is a perfect ruleset to use River Nymph on! š I will use a tank that can heal itself while using River Nymph on removing the poison on it, making the tank INVINCIBLE! š„ I will let the poison slowly kills off my opponent, winning me the game! š

The game started with my full comfidence on my team, thinking that I definitely will win this game. Then the reality hits me like a truck! š

My frontline got ablitirated immediately as the game starts and I got nothing to een deal damage to my enemy!
āļø Round 3
The Poison is the only thing that is damaging my opponent and Spirit Hoarder's ability Triage is so useless right now that I definitely know that I will lose. š
āļø Round 4
I know this is the end for my team. The sheer bulk and damage Djinn Oshannus have is really something to be scared off. Even with Cleanse, my team didn't stand a chance!

It was a clear defeat for me and my team right now. It only shows that better strategy wins in this game and anything is possible! Well, better luck for me next time! š
š³ļø Did your strategy work?
No. I think I got over confident with the team that I have that I thought that the poison is enough for me to win this game. But as you can clearly see, better strategy wins!
š³ļø What will you try differently next time?
I will try using a more bulky frontline with a heal next time. I could even play around with a full tank team next time just to see how will things turns out! It may be true that Merdaali Guardian can be a good tank but it is still works the best when it was used as a support. š
š³ļø Did I like this strategy? Why or why not?
I do like this strategy and I would like to experiement with it more on the future. I can think of a few ways to win using this cards and a few workarounds on their weakness. All in all it was a really fun match!
š³ļø Do I like RIVER NYMPH? Why or why not?
An outstanding YES! It has a great ability in Cleanse, allowing its frontline teamates to get rid of it's debuff. It can also deal magic damage, the best kind of damage in the game. It may not be as flexible as the other support cards but it can still be a great magic attacker in its own right. Plus it has a great card design!
