Hello and thanks for checking in on another art post! This was a commission for a lovely friend, a second one is coming soon as well. She commissioned me before and I am really touched to know she likes my work enough to support me.
Hallo und danke für's Vorbeischauen in einem neuen Kunst Post! Dies war ein Auftrag für eine liebe Freundin, ein zweites Bild kommt demnächst auch noch. Sie hatte mich vor einiger Zeit schon mal beauftragt und ich bin gerührt, dass sie meine Arbeit genug mag um mich zu unterstützen.
Sketch and Lineart too me a looong time I wasn't 100% sure how to handle the extra legs this character has but I think the body turned out pretty well. I had a few problems with the face perspective and figuring out the hair. Oh god, the hair.
Skizze und Linien haben wirklich laaaange gebraucht, da ich mir nicht zu 100% sicher war wie ich mit den extra Beinen umgehe. Ich glaube aber der Körper ist ziemlich gut geworden. Ich hatte ein paar Probleme mit der Perspektive des Gesichts und den Haaren. Oh Gott, die Haare.
The coloring went smooth, I added a bit more to the gold so it looks a bit better than "just" using my normal shadows. I also decided to color the eyes in the same way this time and not have them on an extra layer. When I added the shadows I tried out somethig new for the hair. I think it looks good!
Das Kolorien lief glatt, ich habe ein bisschen mehr zum Gold hinzugefügt damit es besser aussieht als "nur" mit meinen normalen Schatten. Ich habe dieses Mal die Augen auch gleich mitgemacht und nicht auf eine extra Ebene gepackt. Bei den Schattierungen für die Haare habe ich etwas Neues ausprobiert und ich finde es sieht gut aus!
Highlights and lines to finish it off! I actually had the urge to do even more with the light but I didn't want to overdo it and give my friend something she didn't expect and maybe didn't like. But I am pretty happy with the result and she was as well! Thanks for reading!
Highlights und Linien zum Beenden! Ich hatte kurz den Drang noch mehr mit dem Licht zu machen, aber ich wollte es nicht Übertreiben und meiner Freundin etwas präsentieren, dass sie so nicht erwartet hatte und vielleicht gar nicht mag.
