It seems like the practice of daily journaling can bring about ideas one would want to take action on. By removing the clutter from our mind we leave a refreshed space where our creative self can shine. Or at least that is what I've heard from people who journal frequently.

If you are someone who journals, do you find that after a good journaling session that you are more or less inspired?

For me, it's the other way around. Inspiration gets worked out in the journal. I get to think through an idea and possibly even plan it out. Sometimes, it is actionable. Sometimes it is demotivating when the full scope is detailed.

Mostly I journal for peace of mind. It keeps ideas from nagging me so that I don't forget them. Once they're on paper they relax knowing I have a reminder.

That sounds like a good way to go about things. Thanks for chiming in.
