What comedy series is complete without a romantic tragedy? Was anyone rooting for Kickman and Blush to become an item? Is anyone devastated that now it can never happen because of a demonic marriage contract sanctified by a nun? Is anyone ticked off at Kickman that he's banging Succubus even though he is in love with Blush?
And most importantly... Did anyone suspect that Kickman had the feels for Blush? Sure, they made out at that party when they were drunk... but Blush also made out with Sticky Buns that same night. And sure Blush saved Kickman's life using her power of detecting embarrassment. But that's all part of your normal, day-to-day office stuff as a superhero intern.
But right before he was about to die, he thought of her. I really thought that would generate some conversation in the comments, but SVGeezer was the only one that mentioned/questioned the "Blush" thought bubble from last chapter.
So 3 Kick Points for SVGeezer! And to anyone who was thinking that the "Blush" meant that Kickman was just embarrassed he was about to be killed by demons, lose 2 Kick Points!
