While travelling for business, one of the most fun things to do and worth the wait is to try a new cafe in the city. After some chatting with locals and looking for some references, it was finally decided to spend some time while waiting for the train at de.u cafe.
The journey to de.u cafe didn't take long because it was close and in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Bandung, which is observed from morning to evening covered by clouds that don't seem to allow us to get out of bed.
After reading the profile of de.u cafe, it turns out that this is the third branch in Bandung and only opened in August 2024 yesterday. Because it is viral on social media such as tiktok, this cafe is very crowded and continues to be visited by young people.
First Impression
When I first arrived at this cafe, my first thought was very narrow and very ‘skena’ where slang young people who like coffee gathered in Indonesia. From the place is divided into two outdoor and indoor, in the outdoor is more to semi outdoor because there is a shady roof to avoid the rain that comes not on cue.
After ordering I decided to order De.u milk coffee which according to some reviews on this place is highly recommended and recommended because it is delicious and the coffee is quite bold and creamy, it reminds me of milk coffee from kopi tuku and couve in jogjakarta.
Cheesecake and sourdough are the most interesting choices.
Don't forget to also try some of the variants of food and sweet snacks offered such as cheesecake which is said to be one of the best cheesecakes in Bandung, the taste is not sweet enough so it is perfect for those of you who don't like too sweet food.
The sourdough is also quite good because it tastes interestingly soft and still warm when served from feeling easy to eat, the added berries or raisins are also interesting to enjoy meaningfully.
The combination of these two foods is very interesting and makes you want to visit again and again. I totally agree with that, I think De.u is one of the destinations that will always be on my list when I go to Bandung again.
Another pic from De.u Special for u my friend :)
