Watercolor is tricky, scary even, because it can be unpredictable.
But @bdmillergallery does not have a problem with in at all!
Take a look at his watercolor paintings.
Sails Up
"This nautical and Caribbean themed watercolor painting, is another one I created over the new year holiday. I like these small watercolors because they dry fairly quickly, or small enough to only spend an hour or so on, and leave you feeling a sense of accomplishment in a relatively short time. I find that these tiny paintings quickly build my self-esteem and get me back on the creative track quicker then if I would get involved with a larger project. Larger projects are not conducive to jumpstarting your creativity after you’ve been on an artistic hiatus."
SETTING SAILS
"And heading to calmer seas with strong winds and warm air. We are pulling up anchor and sitting out on an adventure a crossed the open waters. Well, that is if you allow your imagination to run wild and explore the unknown after taking a long hard gaze at my newest watercolor painting. During that time I spent painting I also spent it daydreaming. How can one’s mind not drift when utilizing such beautiful colors, as found in the Caribbean."
Her Oceans
Watercolor by Brad Miller
"To slip beneath the surface and soar along the silent bottom of the sea, agile and shining in water honeycomb with light." - Ellen Meloy
