An happy Wednesday to you all!
Today I'm here to share with you a new painting. Since some days I thought about the backgrounds of my paintings. I love to work on the background, especially when I'm painting on canvas. Usually I used a mix of dark blue color, black color and a touch of white colors, layer by layer untile I'm satisfied by the result. This morning I decided it was time to see how a tiny figure could work on a larger background and so, before to work on a new large painting on canvas, I painted the scene I had in my mind on a sheet of paper.
You can see the final result of the piece in the following pics:
As you can see, I painted a tiny female figure in a corner of the painting and, on the other side, a cloud with an house in the same shade of red colors of the dress of the woman.
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do for you every time I paint something new, I took some pics while I was working on it so you can see the process too:
