An happy Sunday to you all! I had a couple of busy days spent to visit my mom at her home in the village not so far from the city where I live, I met a couple of my friends and I worked on a commisioned artwork for a local customer.
It's a rainy Sunday and after some warm and sunny days that made me think to be in the Springtime, now the Winter seems to come back to us.
Since a couple of days I'm feeling the need to find new inspirations, but waitying some new ideas I'm continuing to paint my usual subjects and so today I'm here to share with you a new piece of the series I call "Thinking about home":
As you can see, the subject is one of my usual women in my own illustrative style with a tiny scene about home on her head.
It's an oil painting (with some touches of white ink to paint the lace collar) on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do every time I paint something new, I took some pics while I was painting her so you can see the process too:
