Hello hivers, an happy Saturday to you all! It's a very cold day here in my area and it seems the Winter is just around the corner!
Later in the afternoon I'll finish to decor my home for the Christmas time, but in the meantime I just finished to give the last touches to my new (small) oil painting on canvas and so, while it's drying, I can share with you the final result of that one.
A detail of the painting:
As you can see, the subject is one of my usual (fat) birds on a branch of a tree in my own illustrative style. This one is a Diamond Dove, similar to the one I painted on paper just few days ago. I decided to paint some new birds on canvas and this is the first one after I painted (and sold) a lot of them on paper.
It's an oil painting on canvas sized 30 cm x 30 cm (11.8" x 11.8") and, like I use to do every time I paint a new piece, I took some pics while I was painting this sweet fat bird on a easel inside my lab room so you can see the process too:
Now this piece is drying (it needs around 1 or 2 weeks to dry enough) I'll add this new artwork to my Artfinder shop (link at the bottom), hoping it will find a new home where to be loved!
