Dreams are an integral part of the human life. We all have dreams. Or should I believe that some people don't have dreams? I could not believe that. Every person has a dream. The truth is that many of us forget our dreams. So many people don't remember what dream they had the previous night. It could be a psychological or mental problem.
Many times, our dreams are not meaningful. That is, they are just a funfair of insignificant replay in our minds. We could see ourselves playing with friends in the sporting arena or we could just be seeing ourselves in one kind of fantasy or the other. Those kinds of dreams are the ones you could wake up and observe you mate smiling in his or her dreams. Sometimes, we could see our little children talking in their sleep. Those are those kinds of funny dreams.
But there are dreams with deep meanings. Some of those dreams usually define people's destinies. I have heard about such dreams. There are those one in which someone receives instructions on what kind of business to venture into. Most of the time, when those instructions are followed, there is usually success. On the contrary, there are some of such dreams in which one is cautioned about a certain adventure. Heeding such caution usually saves the person from calamities.
In our native setting, we usually have people who scream from their dreams. Those kinds of dreams are known as nightmares. They are mainly full of horrors. That is the kind of dream that anyone won't want to have. In fact, there have been cases where some people died in their sleep or woke up with serious sickness because of the nightmare they had.
The tales of dreams could be interesting. I have been reading about many people’s recurring dreams since @ericvancewalton made the prompt through the #memoirmonday initiative. This is my contribution to the subject. I do not remember any particular recurring dream I could share. You can share yours with us. The link to the initiative is here
