I am making this post to respond to a lovely and interesting prompt that stirs me up to share my personal life experiences and passion. This is to answer the of of #memoirmonday by @ericvancewalton on the simple life pleasures that we enjoy. The link to the engagement is here
The language is “simple pleasures of life”. There are desired and required pleasures. There are those kinds of pleasures that we really love and like. But sometimes, those are what our body desires but we lack the means of acquiring them to satisfy our longing.
Talking about simple pleasures of life I do have what I like refreshing myself with whenever I am tired of chores or I feel like having some fun. That is watching movies. I love and enjoy watching movies so much that I could get offended if there is no power supply to put on the television.
There are many things that interest us individually. Many of us like gaming. Others love getting to the gym. Yet still, there are those of my friends who take pleasure in cooking. Whatever gives us pleasure, we are at liberty to engage with them.
Finding and enjoying pleasures are fun. Working or studying for days without having pleasure times could be detrimental to our health. It is good that we give time to ourselves to get some fun and enjoyment through the things that give us joy.
I love movies and enjoy watching them a lot. That doesn't mean that I am a lazy brat who only spends time watching television. If I were to be such, I wouldn't have to engage on hive and make up such posts like this.
In our house, we have a Gotv decoder. We usually subscribed to the maximum we can afford. Thanks goodness, that subscription is usually enough to give me many options of movies to select from. I usually watch Trybe Tv, OnTv, AfricanMagic channels, Dove Tv and many more. (Though we usually contend with the small kids who want to watch JimJam 😂).
