So che Natale è ormai passato, e che tutti noi abbiamo riposto le decorazioni in soffitta o in cantina a prendere polvere, impacchettate nei fogli di giornale e pronte ad essere usate l’anno prossimo, ma voglio parlarvi e mostrarvi un bellissimo giardino incantato.
Ogni anno, da Novembre fino ai primi di Gennaio dell’anno successivo, ad Ariccia, un paese dei Castelli Romani vicino alla capitale, viene allestito un percorso itinerante nel bosco di Palazzo Chigi.

Il bosco viene allestito con bellissime luminarie delle favole di Walt Disney.
Camminando sotto un cielo stellato, farfalle svolazzanti, archi di luce che cambiano colore, si passa da una zona all’altra, adibite ad una singola rappresentazione.
Da Cappuccetto Rosso, ad Alice nel Paese delle Meraviglie, Aladino e Peter Pan, i bambini e gli adulti possono visitare un posto magico fatto di luci, fra funghi psichedelici e animali polari.
Abbiamo visitato il parco a inizio Gennaio, prima della fine delle feste, ed ogni anno si arricchisce di qualcosa di nuovo così da non essere mai scontato per chi vuole ritornarci.
All’interno del parco è possibile trovare animatori che scherzano con i bambini e assistere a spettacoli, o semplicemente acquistare dolci, caramelle e zucchero filato (noi non lo abbiamo preso, da quando c’è il covid19 tentiamo di evitare di mangiare cibi non preparati in casa, forse è un’esagerazione, ma non si sa mai).
Io abito a Roma e, a meno di non andare in zone molto centrali, le luminarie di Natale in città sono sempre più scarse.
Il Comune non ne allestisce molte e i negozianti, per i costi elevati, hanno smesso di appenderle, a meno che non sia una strada ad alto traffico commerciale.
Mia figlia è appassionata dei film di Natale e sempre mi parla con invidia delle case e ville Americane completamente addobbate di giochi di luce.
Mi è sembrata un’ottima occasione per farle vivere quell’atmosfera.
In fondo noi vogliamo volare e un po' non crescere mai, come moderni Peter Pan, perché come diceva Ernest Hewingway:
Avere il cuore di un bambino non è una disgrazia: è un onore
Tutti gli scatti sono stati eseguiti con un Oppo Reno Z4 in modalità standard.

I know that Christmas period is now over, and that we have placed the decorations in the attic or in the cellar to collect dust, wrapped in newspaper and ready to be used next year, but I want to talk to you and show you a beautiful enchanted forest.
Every year, from November until early January of the following year, in Ariccia, a town in the area called ‘Castelli Romani’ near the capital, a traveling itinerary is set up in the woods of Palazzo Chigi.

The forest is set up with beautiful lights representing Walt Disney's fairy tales.
Walking under a starry sky, fluttering butterflies, arcs of light that change color, you pass from one area to another walking through a real hood.
From Little Red Riding Hood, to Alice in Wonderland, Aladdin and Peter Pan, children and adults can visit a magical place made of lights, finding psychedelic mushrooms and polar animals on the way.
This year we visited the park in early January, before the end of the holidays, and I have to say that every year it is enriched with something new so as to never be taken for granted for those who want to return visiting once again.
Inside the park you can find masked entertainers who joke with the children, you can attend shows, or simply buy sweets, candies and cotton candy (we haven't taken it, since there is covid19 we try to avoid eating unprepared foods at home, maybe it's an exaggeration, but you never know).
I live in Rome and, unless I go to very central areas, the Christmas lights in the city are increasingly scarce.
The Municipality does not set up many of them and the shopkeepers, due to the high costs, have stopped hanging them, unless it is a busy commercial street.
My daughter is passionate about Christmas movies and always speaks to me with envy of American houses and villas completely decorated with light effects.
It seemed to me an excellent opportunity to let her experience that atmosphere.
Basically we all want to fly and never grow up, like modern Peter Pan, because as Ernest Hewingway said:
Having the heart of a child is not a disgrace: it is an honor
