Owning a SKTHV OG NFTs proves holder's OG status in our community, allows Skatehive to establish a more decentralized and transparent voting system and give holders the power to propose their own ideas as well as shape the future of Skatehive.

If your name is on the list please reply with your ETH address in this post so we can transfer the NFT to you! NFTs will be sent in bulk transaction every 2 weeks.

Buying a SKTHV NFT allows you to participate in governance as well as support the community treasury at the same time. 100% of SKTHV NFT earnings will be held in Skatehive Vault and the community will decide how and where the money will be spent via proposals on Skatehive Snapshot.
SKTHV OG NFT price will double every 3 months and will be available for grabs for 1 year. The only way to get your hands on a SKTHV OG NFT after sale ends (1 year from now) will be by buying one from the secondary market.

Voting and Submitting Proposals
Anyone holding a SKTHV OG can vote on proposals as well as submit their own.
To vote on a proposal
- Go to Skatehive Snapshot and log in with the wallet holding your SKTHV OG NFT
- Find the proposal you wanna vote for and click on it
- Read all details, check community feedback in #✍-forum-skatehive and cast your vote
To submit a proposal
- Go to #✍-forum-skatehive and submit your idea
- Get community feedback
- After discussing your idea with the community you can go to Skatehive Snapshot, log in with the wallet holding your SKTHV OG NFT and click on "New Proposal"
- Check the Guidelines, fill the "Description" and don't forget to include a link to your proposal's #✍-forum-skatehive conversation at the "Discussion" box located at the bottom. When you're done click on "Continue"
At the next page
- Fill "Choises" with the words 'For' or 'Against' and set the date you want your proposal to go live. (Proposal voting lasts 3 days)
- Click on "Publish"

Validation to create proposals : Must Have at least 1 SKTHV OG NFT
Max Voting Power per voter : 1000
Quorum: 700 VOTES
Proposal passes when : More than 50% vote 'FOR' and votes surpass Quorum

The Skatehive Governance Experiment
We've come a long way the past 4 years! We've build a solid community, a rewarding skateboarding social media app, sponsored events, launched online and real-life contests, re-built DIYs, helped community members with medical bills and many more.
All that was done thanks to our awesome community so think of SKTHV OG NFTs as a thank you to anyone who was/is a part of this journey and not as a way to make money cause they are not. It's an experiment to decentralized the way we take decisions about the future of our favourite skateboarding community and at the same time get some funding to build more cool shit!
Our ultimate goal is to give 100% of decision power to the community and SKTHV OG NFTs is a step towards this direction. Let's keep bulding and empowering the skateboarding community like never before!
