Hello everyone, welcome to hive open mic week #226. I trust we all are doing okay, this week was a rollercoaster kinda ride but I'm glad to be able to share my entry, although I'm late, grateful I could get a chance to show up. For this week's theme "My Prayer" I decided to perform a song by American gospel musician "Deon Kipping" called "By myself". I have chosen to perform this song as it's one I can totally relate with at the moment and I'm sure it goes in line with the theme of the week.
The song basically is an acknowledgement to the one true God (Jesus Christ), relying on him in everything we do, acknowledging that there is a higher power above in heaven that helps us, guides us and provides for us. We can't do anything on our own by the help of God. Everything we are or what we would become is all written by God, we just need to connect with Him to get it easily. All we seem to have achieved in our lives is all done by God's Grace and mercies. We can't make it without Him, we can't do life without Jesus Christ. He is God, He is good and kind so let's reverence Him and acknowledge His works in our lives. We need the help of God to navigate life's troubles.
