Today my heart is heavy so to speak,I know most of you might be wondering what's going on with me emotionally. First of all, I want to really appreciate you all my beloved Hivers. I have learnt alot being in this @hive community.
UKRAINE
I've always been in love with this great country Ukraine SLAVA UKRAINI(Glory to Ukraine) ,I fell deeply in love again with the country because of the peace this country dishes out especially to visitors who either came to study,live or enjoy their vacation.I love my football legend Andriy Schevchenko,who happens to hold the record of the highest goal scorer in the history of Ukraine and a former player of Chelsea FC whom I support till date and another football we by name Andriy Yarmolenko and for this reason,am holding up an Olive Branch to foster peace in Ukraine.
MY FIRST VISIT TO UKRAINE
I visited Ukraine sometime in 2006,I spent 2months in Kyiv,I enjoyed every moment of my stay with my escort who took me to beautiful historical places, indeed, Ukraine is a blessed country filled with cultural diversity,unity, peace and welcoming to tourists like and many others.
That's why my heart bleeds today and I ask,WHY UKRAINE?
The News spread all over is not a nice one, that's why today,am holding up an Olive Branch to foster peace in my own little way.
So if we can all read my post and we do hashtag holding up an Olive Branch all over the world,it will speak volume.
Sincerely, Ukraine does not deserve this at this point in time.
Today, with a heavy heart,I scream in my loudest voice NEVER AGAIN,let's all come together to hold up an Olive Branch each one of us for our voices to be heard. And I say that whoever is behind this for any selfish gain or motives,it shall not be well with you.
You cannot displace people because you want their Land,Oil or whatever drives you to engage in this deadly activity.
Stop for a moment,ask yourself what if this is done to me and my family,what happens to their future,what happened to the peace you enjoyed, truth be told,you can never have or enjoy peace,no matter how you appear in the public to be excited, you're dying gradually inside.
Think about this again and give peace a chance, everyone has a right to lets give peace a chance to prevail.
I cry out this way because I know the kind of peace I enjoyed during my stay in Kyiv,I visited
lovely and historic places with the help of my escort who each day memorable,such historical places can't be in ruins because history cannot be replicated no matter how hard you try,it's no longer 100% original any longer.
Please again before you release the next missile, think about the lives it will destroy,do not allow hate to make you a monster, before you cripple that economy,ask yourself what if this is done to me,how will my family survive, remember and never forget that whatever you acquire here on earth do not go to the grave with you,but rather your good works here on earth is what you will go with, everything we see,touch and feel are CANITY UPON VANITY,so I plead again as I hold up my Olive Branch,give peace a chance to thrive.
That we sleep each night and wake up in the morning is not by the strength of even the greatest King or president,if God can give us another chance to life,why can't we eschew violence and foster peace were necessary,we should always be our brothers keeper,as you read this piece, kindly unite and holdup an Olive Branch or hoist a white flag to foster peace,this has to stop, innocent people are dying everyday,STOP!!
Ukraine deserves to be peaceful,let them be,we do not like war,we do not like to be displaced,WE WANT PEACE,WE WANT OUR HOMES BACK.
