This morning I accompanied my mom to a place where she goes for physical therapy, in December she fractured her wrist and in mid-January she had the cast removed, and since then she has been going to a few sessions to get her hand fully recovered.
Esta mañana acompañé a mi mamá a un lugar donde va a hacerse fisioterapia, en diciembre se fracturó la muñeca y a mediados de enero le quitaron el yeso, y desde entonces ha ido a algunas sesiones para que su mano se recupere completamente.
First she went to a private place, about 5 sessions, but then she was recommended a center where the therapies are free, she asked, and this week she started going there, it is on the outskirts of the city but it is not so far, you can walk there. We left for there early and arrived at 7:45 am, there were already people in line, my mom signed up and we waited for them to open, that was around 8:10.
Primero fue a un lugar privado, como 5 sesiones, pero luego le recomendaron un centro en donde las terapias son gratuitas, averiguó, y esta semana comenzó a ir allí, queda en las afueras de la ciudad pero tampoco es tan lejos, se puede ir caminando. Salimos para allá temprano y llegamos a las 7:45 am, ya había gente en la cola, mi mamá se anotó y esperamos a que abrieran, eso fue como a las 8:10.

While we were waiting for the center to open, we went a few meters further, where there were some huge trees, my mom sat under them on a log that was there and I started to photograph the surroundings.

Suddenly the center opened and people rushed to get in, including my mom.

She knew I wanted to go for a walk around so I wouldn't be waiting outside doing nothing, but she told me not to go too far because even though there were about 30 people on the list, it wouldn't take long to see her, every therapy is different and there were several specialists.

Well, I left her there and set out on my walk. It's not the first time I come to this area, I've done a few hikes around here, but without taking much notice of the road, so this time I set out to look in more detail. I was on my way back and my cell phone rang, it was my mom telling me that she had already left the therapy. I walk fast, but I put more speed in my legs because my mom doesn't have much patience to wait 😂. On the way I stopped for a few seconds for one last picture, starring a cute kitten with itching.
Ya estaba regresando y justo sonó mi celular, era mi mamá avisándome que ya había salido de la terapia. Yo camino rápido, pero le metí más velocidad a mis piernas porque mi mamá no tiene mucha paciencia para esperar 😂. En el camino me detuve unos segundos para una última foto, protagonizada por un lindo gatito con comezón.
In total, round trip, my walk took less than an hour, but I enjoyed it very much, it had been a long time since I had visited this area. It was definitely a good idea to do this walk instead of waiting outside the rehab center.
En total, ida y vuelta, mi paseo duró menos de una hora, pero lo disfruté mucho, hacía mucho tiempo que no visitaba esta zona. Definitivamente fue una buena idea hacer esta caminata en lugar de esperar fuera del centro de rehabilitación.
