Hello there Holozing Community!
My name is Solumviz and I'm a digital artist. This new year started off really well for me because I was very fortunate enough to be among the winners of the Holozing background art contest. I came to know about this from my friend @jijisaurart and is very thankful that she let me know about it in the right time. I won 3rd place in the contest so I automatically became part of the family from the winnings itself so I decided to make a fanart of my favourite creature from game for this post.
I really liked Grass Racoon's design very much and his tail reminds me of Bulbasaur from Pokemon so I decided to draw him with an OC. Since the game is heavily inspired from Pokemon, the tail design might be inspired by that as well. On top of that both creatures are grass type. That can't be a coincidence, right? It's cleaver how the artist incorporated it to the Raccoon's body using his tail. Anyway, here is the artwork I made. I used Ash and Pikachu's reference from Pinterest for this pose along with the new item zing-01 they showed us in one of their recent twitter post.

The Process
I decided to use a fusion of cell shading and manhwa style shading for this artwork since the official Art follows anime style as base. Also it's been a while since I used this technique to paint something so it was refreshing and I also added some things I learned so far in there as well. I hope you guys liked the painting as I liked drawing Raccamon one more time haha.
Delegation and Rewards
After seeing that sweet APR, I was very happy since I got some zing and posh already in my account. I didn't waste much time and read some of the important posts from the mods of this community about the project and finally decided to stake my zing earnings using Keychain app. I tried to delegate some HP as well in the morning but encountered some technical issues but now it was solved so I decided to delegate 300HP as a start and see how it goes. So far so good!
I really have great expectations from this project since I know some of the names behind this game since I joined Hive. The game being inspired from Pokemon is like a bonus to me. Now I get to see cool artworks as well. I hope 2024 will be year of Holozing and hey, I might even join the battle soon haha.
