This is my first time participating in this needle work and i hope am highly welcomed.
I am showing people how i made a Hair bonnet for my dear self. My mom is a seamstress thou am not into sewing fully but i know some basis in sewing and want by God's Grace to start learning it.
The project is a Hair bonnet. I started this evening that to say i made it for few hours, i used satin material in sewing it. decided to make to hair bonnet in which i can use at night in sleeping and can also use in other activities like cooking. It's really a new skill though I have little knowledge. I felt amazing working on it.
Materials
- Satin
- Dull face
PROCEDURE
First of all is to cut out your satin and dull face materials as you can see i used the pink satin for the cap and the black dull face material for the the mind.
The satin was cutted 21 by 21 making it length and width both 21 while the black material was 12 inches by 4 inches the length was 12 inches and the width 4 inches.
The black material both side are sew with the edges down in the length and turned over allowing a few inches in which the pink one will enter.
Then place the black material on the sewing machine and divide the inches left into two. Bring divided into two start printing the pink material on the black one and ensure the width enters on the half side whereas the length enters on the other side.
Continue to print more finer till the material enters very well.
After printing then run the black stitches by folding into the pink satin material to fet a finer look and a neater work.
My good goals is to elevate more by God's Grace.
Making a hair bonnet was really amazing 🤩 and am happy it was done.
