Basket of 15 Cryptos as of 21/01/2025
It feels like the market has been crashing but our basket is actually up from last week. XRP is up 21% for the week and both SOL and LINK are up 28% so we're doing ok. Most other things finished 3-8% up and a few things were a few percent down.
The TRUMP token has no doubt hurt our bags with donkeys pulling huge amounts of liquidity out of other ALTs to buy it. Im thankful this project will wrap up in a few months because im thinking we'll be seeing a lot of bullshit "official celebrity" meme tokens enter the top 50. Trump as President has pretty much green lighted this for anyone to scam their communities.
So the dollar value increased a little this week which is cool. XRP even went over $5000 a few hours. It would be nice for ETH to do something, it's looking kinda dead like a stable token. Looking at the allocations above, im still happy with our biggest bags.
The price of HIVE has dropped alot over the past week and the book value of XV token increased back up to 3.17 HIVE. Going forward, im not sure what is going to happen with HIVE since Upbit got hit with fines for money laundering.
The basket value increased in dollars this week and the price of HIVE dropped so we see a big increase in HIVE value. We're currently sitting on just under 40k HIVE profit so cant complain.
Up $893 this week which is good, i think i can say things would need to go very very badly for us to lose money at this point.
Round-Up
Another week is gone and only 18 weeks remain. I've been thinking about how to best wrap up XV and I thought about using some bot to automate but it but no need to complicate things for me. The plan is fairly simple, sell the basket into USDT, convert that into HIVE, move the HIVE to hive-engine and put it all in a buy-back order. I reckon the whole process will only take an hour depending on transfer times. Will be weird to not have to upload this report each week. haha
Anyways, we're getting there and there is not long left.
