Hello everyone! Are you ready for another "Splinterlands Epic Battle"? 🌟✨ For this post, I would like to share my most recent victory using Olivia of the Brook. This card is one of my favorite cards in Splinterlands (for now) and is especially useful in tight battles. I only have a level 2 of this card, but its Mimic ability is surely a reliable one. At max level, it will have Reflection, Mimic and Opportunity abilities.
For this battle, here are the specific rulesets and a mana cap to consider:
Mana Cap: 55
Active Elements: Fire, Water, Life, Death and Dragon
Active Rulesets:
- Up Close and Personal: Only monsters with Meelee attack may be used in battles.
- Heavy Hitters: All monsters have the Knockout ability.
Summoner: Eternal Tofu
- I used this summoner because of its ability to give allied monsters the Thorn ability.
First Position: Uriel The Purifier
- My primary reason to use this is because of its Heal ability while having the Thorns ability.
Second Position: Corsair Bosun
- Its Reach ability is perfect for the Pos 2 role while having the Cleanse ability.
Third Position: Drybone Raider
- I used this card because of its additional Range Attack.
Fourth Position: Olivia of the Brook
- Here I am hoping that it can steal that much abilities in order to win the battle.
Fifth Position: Uraeus
- I used this card in hoping that it can iflict poison to the enemy.
Sixth Position: Dumacke Orc
- I predicted that the enemy will use back line attackers and its tough armor together with Shield and Retaliate ability will help the team win the battle.
Strategy:
The strategy here is to win by using Tofu's Thorn ability since only Meelee monsters may be used in this battle.
The enemy used Possibilus the Wise to summon Water elements to the battlefield. The enemy line up is a combination monsters that can attack from any position.
Let the battle begins!
In the end of Round 1, my Uriel was heavily damaged by the enemy and almost got defeated.
In the end of Round 2, Uriel was defeated, leaving Corsair Bosun to tank the enemy damage.
In the end of Round 3, Olivia The Brook was already in the first position. At this point it only has 2 HP, however, it already stealed alot of skills.
In the end of Round 4, its Olivia the Brook + Uraeus against the enemy Arkemis the Bear with 11 HP still.
This match up is quite upsetting and I am on the downside, until Olivia The Brook stealed the Protect ability. Together with the Repair ability that it alse stealed, my line up was able to win this battle.
