A Powerful Tool For Land Owners

in #hive-133239 days ago

If you own any decent amount of land in Splinterlands you might be well aware at just how complicated and how many clicks one has to do to check up on lands. Well there are tools to help us on 3rd party platforms and today I want to go over two I use. They pretty much do the same thing but I like the format of each for different things.

For myself I currently own 142 plots of land in Splinterlands and will most likely be buying more if it's under $50 each. Boy oh boy do I remember the days when a plot of land would sell for $1,000+ lol and let's not talk about that kingdom that sold on wax for nearly 1 million dollars! That's just wild.

In any case that kind of shows you what could be possible with land.

Land 1.75

We have about 2-3 months before land 1.75 is released from the sounds of it. With that land 1.75 is going to bring some changes. Nothing too crazy but enough that it's going to start shifting the way the game is played.

The big change will be the introduction of certain land plots being able to harvest certain resources. Much like research and SPS have their own type of land plots that offer up a 100% bonus soon we will have Stone, Wood, ore and Gain having to be built on their own land plots.

Now as far as I know these are still the numbers however always check out the Splinterlands white paper and updates from the game for accurate changes and numbers.

Each land plot has it's perks for what cards work on them. You can find this on the gitbook here:
Terrain and Card Type Bonuses

You also have Production Boosts Based On Land Rarity and Worker Production and then other things like Runis, Titles and Totems all giving extra perks to the land plots in their own way.

But the real big change will be land type to what resources it can now produce which are as follows.

Wood - Forests, Jungles, Tundras (Which I have plenty of lol), Swamps
Stone - Deserts, Canyons and Hills
Iron - Mountains, Badlands, Lakes.
Gain - not yet but soon Plains, Rivers, Bogs and Lakes

So managing all of this from the UI can be a lot of work. But a tool I like to use now in order to get a good quick overview of what I have would be PeakMonsters land system. By logging into hive via PeakMonsters you'll have tabs at the top. My Cards, My Land, My Assets and Soulkeep. In this case we want My Land. This will give you a beautiful snapshot of all of your land and even harvesting details. However clicking on via will give you an awesome spreadsheet showing you the land type, rarity and so forth allowing you to get a quick overview of what you have and how you can start to maximize it for land 1.75 release.

*All liquid earnings from this post will be used to buy SPS
