Happy new year to you all on Hive. On December 31st, the last day of the year 2024, we went to the beach to celebrate the New Year 2025. As you all know, my husband is going to spend the New Year in his hometown. So we don't have any plans to spend the New Year anywhere. But my neighbor wanted to go to the beach with their family and they invited us to go with them too.
They plan to make a small party and sleep in tents by the beach for happy new year. We wake up at 4am and we leave home at 4:40am. We ride the car maybe four hours before we arrived the beach but our driver doesn't drive fast but he is a good driver.
This road is under construction, a new road is not yet finished. Some places are finished, some are not. Most of the road is on the mountain. And there is the highest bridge in Cambodia, which is 100 meters high. But we didn't stop taking pictures. The scenery on the road is so beautiful.
We arrived at Koh Kong province at 9:00 am and went to the market to have breakfast and buy some food to make a meal by the beach.
We rode inside the car, but when we got close to the provincial capital, we wanted to ride in the back of the car to see the scenery.
When we got to the beach, the children had fun playing in the sea and sand, and we adults started cooking.
It’s a long time ago that I visited the beach. The feeling of looking at the sea is so good and refreshing.

At the huts we rented for eating and camping, they also have a food ordering program to set up tables for guests. They make like a big party for happy new year.
They have a singing and dancing program, a comedy show, and a fireworks display to celebrate the New Year.

It was a great New Year's Eve with my neighbors and many other people I never knew.
