Don't listen to rumours

in #blog2 years ago

I had this very good friend who stopped talking to me after some time. I was very busy with work and so I didn’t even notice we had not spoken for a week. When I eventually did realize, I made to call him but he busied my calls. I tried sending him messages on social media platforms but discovered he’s blocked me. What the heck!!!😮

I gave up.

Few months later, I’ve discovered this boy stopped talking to me and blocked me simply because someone told him ‘I said.’ OMG!!!

He blocked me because of rumors and gossips!!!

With the aid of one of our mutual friends, he has now discovered I didn’t really ‘say’ and he’s willing to make amends. I’m not buying the idea of still being friends with him.

Stop judging people based on rumors.
Stop hating people because of rumors.
Stop having issues with people sake of rumors.

Rumors can make you dislike innocent people.

The last thing you should do on earth should be that you hated someone because of what some folks told you they said or did. Come on, what has stopped you from experiencing them for yourself and having first hand information?

Hearsay has a very tricky way of breaking friendships and relationships. You should not give it a chance with yours. Don’t judge people close or far from you based on what others think or say about them. Meet them and confirm the speech you’ve been given.

Be wise!
