I have been too busy lately with my personal life and making some beekeeping community plans to really have time for my personal blog. As much as I love to post frequently, I don't like rushing myself; instead, I post when I am least pressured.
The month of February had come to an end, and I had set some goals for myself regarding my personal life that were not too complicated. My goals for February were not as high as they were during the time I was writing exams in school.
One of the goals I had set was to be able to finish the book I was reading, The Rich Man in Babylon, before the end of the month, and I was able to accomplish that in a week. I didn't know how I was able to do that. I was impressed with myself.
Another goal that I had set for myself was to get a new apartment and set it up. This goal was not achieved because of the delay I had with the landlord failing to make necessary repairs in the house. He caused a delay of two weeks before he could finally get it done.
These were the two primary goals I had set down for February. The other little goal I had written down was to be consistent with my Duolingo by practicing at least one lesson a day and also by watching at least a video in the course I am taking on Udemy. These little goals are part of my structured system, which I have to follow every day to achieve my main goal.
MY GOALS FOR THE MONTH OF MARCH
For the month of March, I would be setting goals relating to Hive, which would help me to consciously build my account and some personal goals for my life.
HIVE GOALS:
Write At Least 5 Posts A Week: I don't know how possible it is for me to achieve this goal, but I would look for a system that I can follow to make it possible. Last month, I wrote a total of 15 posts; with 5 posts a week, I would be able to write up to 20 posts in a month.
Writing frequently would increase my growth on the chain, which is why I need to start doing that more often.
Hive Power Goal: With a goal of 5 posts a week, I should be able to make up to 50 Hive Power per week payout at least. So my goal is to increase my HP from 17323 to 17600 Hive Power at the end of the month. Hopefully, I pray I don't encounter life scenarios that would cause me to have a power outage.
- Leo Power Goal: My Leo Power has been too stagnant for a while. I attained 2000 LP a year ago on Leofinance, and I have not gone further than that. My goal is to raise 1000 LP, which I would power up for this month.
Kick-Start Another Batch of the Newbies Initiative: If you have not heard about the Newbies Initiative, it is a program that trains newcomers on Hive and equips them with the right goal mindset as well as knowledge of Hive guidelines, markdowns, communities, frontends, dApps, blockchain gaming, and much more.
The reason for the delay is that our planning is taking way too much time. This is because we are trying to solve some issues that may occur and do not want them to affect the newbies after the beginning of a new batch.
- Begin Cross-Cultural Monthly Contest: It has been a year since I was inactive with Cross-Culture and her monthly contest. Due to school activities, I became inactive in the contest, which apparently contributed to the inactivity of the community. The contest would begin this month's march with delegation prizes of up to 2000 HP.
PERSONAL GOALS:
I don't have any new goals to follow for the month of March. My goals have always been constant and are not something that can be achieved overnight or in a short period of time. It only requires me to follow a structured system that would help make those goals a reality. These structures and systems include:
- Practicing Duolingo daily, at least one lesson a day.
watching at least one video a day in my Udemy DevOps course.
If there are more goals to add to my personal goals, I will come back to edit this post and work toward them.
