We often accumulate and save in life and here on Hive. Many assets benefit us more the more we have. Clearly, it's better to have a bigger bag. The room for maneuvering and options for use increase. You can't do with $1 what is quite possible with $1,000 already.
But when does it become enough? When does one stop?
FUD
The fear of losing what we already have in our virtual or real pockets rules this world better than any mind-control course. People get so upset about losing a few dollars that they don't notice the benefit of hundreds in the future. The feeling of losing or being cheated is stronger than the loss or cheating itself in the long run.
Hence, such a long acceptance of cryptocurrency in general and Hive in particular.
If there is no threat to life or health, what's the point of withdrawing those few dollars (or hundreds of dollars) from Hive? This community appreciated your efforts, whatever they were. Gave you a head start and an opportunity to grow further. But something prevented you from accepting it. Believing that those few dollars could turn into several thousand or even millions in the future.
Buy myself a pizza with this obscure coin. Because it seems like these people have all lost their minds...
A dollar, for which it's almost impossible to buy anything good in the real world now, can really be part of your power here. Hive Power was invented very accurately. (thanks to the creators) That miserable dollar can even become the future. For some, it already is. It's already happened to a lot of people. And it's not even about the money. It's about the skills that have been acquired just by swimming in these Hive waters and just communicating...
I'll watch, and if Hive is alive and growing, I'll definitely come back.
Nah. Either you won't come back, or it will be too late. Both for reputation and to come back.
And that's when FOMO comes in...
FOMO
Everyone needs money. Sooner or later, it really is vital. It really happens. It is important to understand this point and not to be confused with self-delusion in buying a new phone. To take better pictures for Hive.
But then walk away from Hive because the gesture and the pictures are not appreciated.
By realizing these simple things right away, you can lose a lot of FOMO in the future.
I need the money now too, so I'm trying to change where I live and where I work. If that doesn't work out, I'll find a way out. But I won't take a penny out of here. My power is growing, my skills are growing, and so is my interest in cryptocurrency and Hive. I see thousands of opportunities and a future in it.
Better to lose thousands in something that offers hope and brings value right now than to lose a few hundred by spending it to buy a new smartphone. Or clothes. Or pizza...
I won't experience FUD or FOMO in a few years in cryptocurrency and Hive. Just like I don't experience it now. I get value here every day. I've learned a lot of things here and met new people who are teaching me new things again. The process is endless, which is what makes it perfect!
So when is enough?
Never.
First you have to learn how to work, and then you have to learn how to make money.
That's what an accountant I know used to say. A wise woman!
First, you need to understand how it works. Earnings will come on their own. One day and all of a sudden. Ecological and creative. Beneficial to the system. And in doing so, bringing value to everyone, including you...
And since today is LPUD, I continue to accumulate and increase my power!
