One of the many regrets that I have in life is that, I cannot be like my Dad. Even after giving all the efforts and trying everything I cannot be like him. This is crazy thing that I was upto but it is true that no two soul or person can be alike. We cannot expect our kids exactly to be like us, in the same way as we cannot fill up our parents shoes. The differences between individuals are undoubtedly because of differences in our genes. There is also the factor of generation gap that draw a line between parent and child. Parents always comes up with all facilities for their kids. They wanted them to be the best. But the way the time is running and advancement is happening, there is alwsys a spoiler in parental plan.

Few days, ago I found a guy being arrested on charge of theft. I was surprised to find that his Dad was a well known teacher in the area. It was quite surprising to know that a teacher kid is into bad activities within the society. For that whom to blame? I can not raise finger on the father. I am sure being a teacher himself, he alwsys wanted best for his kidd and taught some good life lessons. But his son ultimately ends up following a wrong path. A path that might put his father prestige in stake. It get quite complicated to justify the answer, what webt wrong during the parenting phase.
When a child misbehaves, it can be difficult to determine who is to blame. but there are several factors that we like to consider:
Parents : Parents are legally responsible for the actions of their children because they have a duty to supervise and educate. Parents can also be encouraged to identify areas where they need help managing their children's behavior. However, it is important to not that children are separate individuals and their behavior may be influenced by peers, idols, and other authority figures.
Child's requirements: Children may misbehave when they are tired, hungry, or bored. They may also project blame to deflect from difficult emotions they don't have the capacity to deal with. If parents meet their children's emotional needs from a young age, children are more likely to have high self-esteem, a conscience, and the ability to form satisfying relationships.
Patterns: Parents can inadvertently get into negative patterns and behaviors when raising their children. It's important to understand these patterns and work on changing them.
The Buiding Block!
In my opinion, A child's development is influenced by their parents' parenting style, which can be authoritative, permissive, authoritarian, or neglectful. At the same time, apart from the family atmosphere, our society plays a multifaceted role in child development too. A child's development is influenced by the community they grow up in, including their neighborhood, friends, and local sports club. A healthy community with the right values can help a child develop and succeed in school and later in life. However a unhealthy community may ends up with negative consequences.
Nowadays, as the real social life are on verge of extinction, it is pretty hard to determine the child's progress. Exposure to media and technology can impact a child's cognitive and emotional development. A parent can keep a watchful eye on their child and try to prevent misbehavior or misconduct. Parent can be a role moddel in child life. They can set an example by taking responsibility for their own mistakes. Parents can identify supportive friends and family members and tell them what they are working on as a parent.
But at the end it is left upto the person what to choose for the better life. Even after so many efforts, the child may get distracted and follow a unknown path. And parent remain helpless.
Peace!!
