Recently, I was complimented for a reduce health. I shed down little kilos in recent times, thanks to some strict routine, I followed with my daily activities. Last time I loose my weight was in 2017, and I restricted myself from all kinds of carbs intake. I avoided, sugar, rice, cut down on my food intake followed by some strenous running. This time around , I started doing some physical workout whereas, my diet intake remain more or less same. But receiving such compliment does motivates me to do shed more and I started avoiding some of the junk foods. I feel lighter and more agile than before. For a good health it is important to inclide both diet and exercises in our daily routine. Both of them have their contribution in a good health.
Role of Exercise
Regular exercise can have many benefits for your health, including:
Physical health : Exercise can help us to manage your weight, lower your blood pressure and cholesterol, and strengthen your bones, muscles, and joints. It can also reduce your risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, dementia, and some cancers.

Other benefits : Exercise can help you sleep better, recover from periods of hospitalization or bed rest, and combat cancer-related fatigue.
Role of Diet.
A healthy diet can help you maintain good health and protect against chronic diseases. It can also help you manage your weight, lower your cholesterol and blood pressure, and improve your mood.
A healthy diet includes a variety of foods from each of the five food groups, in the recommended amounts. This includes:
-Cereals: Wheat, barley, rye, maize, or rice.
- Starchy tubers or roots: Potato, yam, taro, or cassava.
- Legumes: Lentils and beans
-Fruit and vegetables: Many colors - Foods from animal sources: Meat, fish, eggs, and milk.
We should also consume less salt, sugars, and saturated and industrially-produced trans-fats. For example, we can choose good fats like olive oil, olives, nuts, nut butter, seeds, and avocados. We can also try eating more vegetables, eating fruit over juice, and including nuts and seeds.
The recommended number of serves for each food group is different for children, teenagers, women, and men. People with special dietary needs or a medical condition should ask their doctor or a registered dietitian for advice.
It's important to choose nutritious foods and avoid those with large amounts of trans fats, added salt, and sugar. You can also consider planning ahead when eating out to help you stick to your diet.
Shaping up of our Body.
Both diet and exercise are important for optimal health, and combining the two can help you achieve more sustainable results. For example, while diet may be more effective for weight loss in the short term, exercise can help you keep the weight off and has many other benefits.
Weight loss Some say that diet is more effective for weight loss, but others say that exercise is an important part of losing and keeping weight off. Eating a healthy diet can help you lose weight, but adding exercise can help you burn more calories and preserve lean muscle. Combining the two can help you achieve more meaningful and sustainable weight loss in the long term.
Other benefits Exercise can help with many other things, including: Cardiovascular health, Muscle strength and bone health, Mental well-being, Metabolic rate, and Performance.
When it comes to exercise, we can try to include both aerobic and resistance exercise in our routine.
Recomendation.
I read in an article that getting at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity each week. We can spread this exercise out over a few days or more in a week. We can try activities like walking, stair climbing, jogging, dancing, bicycling, yoga, tai chi, gardening, weightlifting, or swimming. We don't need to join a gym to exercise, we can try body-weight exercises or do a yoga video at home.
Do remember, excess of anything is harmful. Eityer we follow diet or exercise, we should never cross the limit. Stay within our capability and helps to live a better life.
Peace!!
