Reckless driving or using phone while driving has alwsys been a cause of many road accidents. There were many reason where drivers breaks the road safety rule which results in damages or losses of lives. Even after placing many restriction and check point driver crosses their limit and ends up with various consequences. But now #blockchain technology is aiming to create a safer driving culture, by rewarding the responsible drivers with credit for every minute of driving without touching their phone. The recently launched LETSTOP app monitors phone usage while driving to reward drivers for safe driving.
LETSTOP is an app that aims to make driving safer. Letstop is an app where every drive, bring you rewards and helps make road safer. It aims at maximising the driving experience and also to earn rewards using this app. Many will question how this app works. Here is breif summary, before I dive deep into the set up process :
The app monitors how often the driver uses their phone while driving.
An AI-based algorithm calculates the driver's credit based on factors like how long they've been using the app and their overall drive score.
The app rewards drivers with crypto for every minute they don't use their phone.
The app automatically stops monitoring when the car is not moving for a long time, like at a traffic light.
The app shuts down after the drive is over to protect the driver's privacy.
The app is free to download, but there is an in-app payment option to get more credits and rewards. It's available for Android and Apple stores. Android users can check upon my referral links for easy access.
Before proceeding further , we must understand, the more we limit our phone usage while driving the more safer we will remain. Keeping this logic LETSTOP aims to reduce risks on the road by promoting safe driving. The app tracks how much a driver uses their phone while driving. The #AI based algorithm helps to calculate a driver's score. LETSTOP also partners with automotive and insurance companies to create a safer driving culture. This one app sound pretry exciting to me and this makes me to share.
In order to download the app, one may visit, the app store or use my referral link. The app will ask for a sign up process.
The user can login using the Google account too but I preferred this way. Feeding the username (no space) followed by your email and password. The referral box will autofilled, in case using any link. The app then ask for the mobile number verification. The OTP will be sent to your number, which needs to be verified before proceeding further.
The usage of a referral link allows the new user to get a "mystery box". It has certain amount of credits to your account. In my case I was rewarded with 5 Letstop credits which has certain value, which I share later.
For smooth functioning and navigation, the mobile #app requires certain permission. We need to give all the access like location, runningnover the app etc. I found it safe to share.
The app is ready to be used. As far as the mystery box reward is concerned, I chked into my profile section which valued at $0.75. For 5 poits it is worth of a money. The more I make use of the app, the credit will keep on increasing and so does my earnings.
The app also allow user to shre rhe referral links and earn some portion form the reference first drive. The more we share the more we earn. I am not a frequent driver, but still will try to make certain points, either through driving or referring.
The biggest benefit that the appnis promising is to trade the points. The website clearly mention :
Users can convert LETSTOP credits into $STOP Tokens and transfer them to a crypto exchange to explore new horizons.
There are more with the points system, which the user explore, upon using the app. The app works automatically in the background, allowing the users to drive with their preferred navigation system while recognizing and rewarding their safe driving habits. I do jot see any harm in getting rewards for my drive. Atleast it may help to cover the additional cost.
