Description from Strava:
We are in Edinburgh again for a family Christmas. The weather is really good for the time of year and there is no chance of snow. We had a hearty breakfast whilst opening our stocking presents. People have different traditions, but we open the main ones after lunch. The are no really little kids in the family, so we were not woken early.
The dog needed walking and so a lot of us went for a walk. There is a woodland park nearby that was very popular. Some of us walked right up the hill that gives a great view of the city. It is quite a climb and it was really windy up there. We did not stay too long. I really had to hang onto my phone when taking pictures.
There are big steps when coming down, so it is hard on the knees. My back was not posting up though. In previous years I have run up there, but not today.
We are back for lunch. There will be plenty to eat today.
Enjoy however you should this time of year.
