Stacked

We got out for a #wednesdaywalk (hosted by @tattoodjay). We had a big storm last night with 60 mph wind gusts 😓

Sunrise

It snowed for a few hours and then switched to rain and high winds. It was a long night but a nice sunrise 🙂

Foggy vignette

The warm weather caused the snow to create fog.

The road

Our walk along the road to the lake. You can see all the debris on the road.

Trouble

And of course the downed tree on the power lines 🙁 We got lucky this storm. Our house is kind of at the intersection of two roads. There were outages on both those roads but we still had power 🤷‍♂️

Pinecones

The high winds knocked down lots of the pinecones. The pinecones are so thick they are almost like fallen leaves 😁

The most does add so much to your photos. Beautiful!

We are getting blasted today. 8 inches on Tuesday and another 13 inches today. Then bitter cold to follow.

We are getting the cold and lots of wind again. Nowhere near that much snow though. Stay warm 🙂

Your second pics is beautiful with this sky and the reflection on the water.
Lucky you for the power.
Have a great day

Thanks I actually liked the second pic best but didn't think it looked good as a thumbnail. In fact none of the pictures looked good as a thumbnail. I actually set the third pic as thumbnail 😅

Ah, with Ecency you can choose your thumbnail photo, good to know... with Peakd it's the first one.

I do love Ecency but you can also choose thumbnail with Peakd click the advanced button at the bottom of the create a post screen. The last option is choose your "cover image" which is the thumbnail.

Ah, I've been using it for barely 6 years now and I've never noticed it before 🙄
