Hello dear friends of this beautiful community where there is room for one of my great pleasures as it is the food. I am pleased to present the three meals that constituted my day Mars 19nd December 2022.
After taking my beloved Ana to her therapies I returned home in order to prepare breakfast, eat and leave breakfast ready for her when she returns and what better than some arepas with perico. The perico is a recipe that I have loved since I was little, it is one of the dishes that my beloved Ana considers extraordinary, she says that the perico that I prepare is very different from the others, to which I answer that the special ingredient that I added is the love and the desire with which I prepare it. One of my keys to this recipe is that I prepare it with plenty of oil and all the seasonings are fried to the point that they are left to waste.
When I have to work, I always try to be back before lunchtime and the object of my eagerness is to be able to prepare a tasty lunch. Today I had the pleasure of preparing a dish that is to the taste of all the members of the family. A rice dish with shredded salad and sweaty chicken. Although my beloved's favourite recipe is pasta with chicken, whenever I prepare chicken she loves it. This sweaty chicken is usually prepared with potatoes but since I don't have that vegetable in my pantry, I won't add any. I just sauté the chicken with seasoning, then cover it and let it steam.
The night could not be less special and I prepared some ham and yellow cheese sandwiches, but I used white bread and tomato. It was a special dinner because we hadn't eaten ham and yellow cheese for a long time, it is a rather expensive product for the situation we live in and sometimes we prefer to buy other types of protein, but there is always time and money to treat ourselves. And today was that time. Thank God for that.
