Conor Gallagher led the press on Saturday as Chelsea managed to unsettle our undefeated opponents. Mykhailo Mudryk's goal after the break doubled Chelsea's lead, which had already been established by a Cole Palmer penalty in the first half. Wearing the captain's armband in place of Reece James from the starting lineup, the 23-year-old once again put in a shift full of vigour, dedication, and desire. The Blues Academy alumnus said that he appreciates the physicality and hard work of the game and strives to instill these qualities in his teammates. He also acknowledged the challenge of the fierce competition for spots in the Chelsea squad. "I adore it," Gallagher remarked.
In my professional life, I've usually had a point to make. I enjoy a challenge, so I want to set myself new goals. All I want to do is keep doing what I'm doing, help Chelsea win more games, and move up the standings. I make an effort to instill that battling attitude in the team because I think it's incredibly vital. I always try to give it my all in the hopes that the other players would notice.
Everyone was giving it their all and had excellent work ethics, as I believe you can see. We will require it in the future, in addition to the attributes of every player. Conor also talked about Palmer's all-around play, noting that the two of them formed an unconventional two-pronged forward line that was very effective and gave Arsenal's defence constant issues. Palmer scored from the penalty spot for the second straight game. He is incredibly talented, Gallagher continued. His brilliance was evident in training as soon as he joined Chelsea. He is now displaying it in games, which has greatly aided our entry. He deserves praise, and I hope he can continue since he has been outstanding. Two of the numerous positives from Saturday's game were Gallagher and Palmer's efforts.
We outperformed the unbeaten Gunners, who are still tied for first place in the Premier League table, and we should be happy that we didn't win all three points. But considering the style of Arsenal's second-half comeback, our No. 23 thinks it will take some time to move over the first hurt and concentrate on our ongoing success under Pochettino. He acknowledged that everyone was frustrated after conceding two late goals that really hurt after leading by two goals and played incredibly well and professionally.
There will be a lot of benefits for us from it. It stings right after the game since we were rooting for the victory. However, after some thought and a few days to recover from the draw, I believe we'll be pleased with our performance against Arsenal. We can build on it because it was beneficial to us. We're becoming more self-assured and dedicated to working as a team every day and getting to know each other's games, which is incredibly vital. Though it takes time, we have undoubtedly become better in the last few games. The group's skill and hard ethic are unquestionable. Everyone strives for excellence and puts in a lot of effort throughout practise and competition.
