There's this boat on the lake near where I have a storage unit, I've posted about it on @photographylovers . Nearly every time I go past I take a picture. I was there today. and snapped the first two pictures.
I use a Samsung 24 Ultra for impromptu snaps, and unless I have time to really think about things use the standard settings. These pictures were taken from the car, with an eye on the road to see if anything was coming - it's an access road and a dead end, so not majorly busy, but still has regular traffic and Saturday afternoon is when folks will go down to the marina for a mess about on their boat.
The pictures were then converted to Black and White using the native software.
This first picture was taken on the way into the unit and, I feel is the better of the pair.
About thirty minutes later, as I was leaving, I took this one and while the cloud cover appeared to be consistent looking at this it feels as if ambient light was brighter as the picture looks a little washed out.
This third phograph was taken a few weeks ago and I've played about with the levels to try and give it a vintage feel, like you might find in a tin of old pictures at your grandparents.
