I think black and white photos are good because you can forget the flow of time. In fact, I didn't feel the charm of black and white photography from the beginning. To be honest, at first I thought black and white photography was boring. I thought the image had no colour and was nothing to look at. However, at some point, the moment came when I suddenly felt the depth of black and white. It probably happened when I took my first black and white photographs.
my first blog about my black and white photos that you may like and this is my #monomad entry.
Leica M7 I bought my first Leica film camera and received a Kentmere 400 black and white film as a gift from an acquaintance. And, while the M7 was adjusting the exposure, I took a black and white picture. After receiving the results of the first shoot, the moment came suddenly.

It was taken a long time ago, so it's a photo I regret in many ways, but from this first roll of black and white film, I felt the charm of black and white photography.
So, this is the second black and white film photo I took. At first, it looked like old film, but now I can take sharp pictures like a Leica. The deep gradation expression and texture felt very appealing. The clearer and stronger the contrast, the more satisfying the results obtained.
And as time goes by, these are the black and white photos taken recently.

I also bought a Leica M typ246 monochrome body to enjoy black and white photography only. And I still enjoy black and white film photography.
