Friday, the most awaited days of the week for me as I have a class of Literary Theory and Criticism. In this class, we mainly discussed about the critiques and their point of view such as Plato, Aristotle, Philip Sidney, T.S. Eliot and many more. But yesterday's class discussion started with one of the most interesting topic about Friendship. One of my class fellows were of the view that "To be with someone who fulfill your needs without asking it."* Arguments started and everyone started to give his/her opinion but the Sir didn’t agree with them.
Students gave several opinions to support his argument such as "To help friend with hook and crook". But Sir didn't agree with them. Sir’s point of view was that if we are with someone in order to fulfil our needs without telling them then it’s not a friendship. It’s a relationship of need based and Friendship is not need based.
Discussion continues half an hour with no conclusion. Afterwards, another student participated by saying that
"Friendship is unconditional. We support him, with him in every situation without any condition."
At last, teacher said, "Friendship is a feeling and we can't elaborate it in words."
I want to add up my opinion that Be with someone without any desire, supports him/her in every scenario, and share a bond of love and care. To whom you talk hours and hours without any judgment. I want to conclude it by saying:
"In the pages of life, Friendship writes the most beautiful stories. A narrative of shared laughter, unwavering support, and adventure that echo through the chapters of time."
