Am so glad to be among those that witnessed this era of technology boom, because despite it looks like the opportunity of enjoying every access made possible by advanced technology is only for the young ones and youth, I do see this era and age as also an era that has improved those coming from the millennium days.

Technology with its constant improvements has brought and created so many easier access to acquiring knowledge in this era of 21st century , although it seemed its causing lots of damages since many, especially the youths of the present generation are not embracing the opportunity very well.

As a millennium, which is where I can say my age falls within, the access to information which makes learning easier to acquire knowledge was never easy during my growing up like it is now with the availability and use of internet through how technology and computer age provides and make things so easy.

I can say we are more knowledgeable in this present era and age due to how the use of smartphones, availability of the internet , artificial intelligence and use of data has made things so easy. And will also say that this era are indeed smarter than our predecessors because of how change that took place and brought technology, Internet, on going innovation and artificial intelligence are all from this era and age.

During my school days as s millennium, the use of typewriter was mostly in vogue where documents are typed electrically but with inserting of letter headed papers into the typewriter. Although, the use of computers 💻 where beginning to be made available but only few companies was able to afford them. This is one typical example. And this shows how harder it would have been for our predecessors. I don’t think many of them even wrote letters on papers.

The introduction of Artificial Intelligence, smartphones, laptops 💻, search engines here and there crowned and made information very easy to source which in turn made knowledge very accessible. I can practically tell you that even those who are not learned are gaining information and becoming knowledgeable. This however shows that this era and age are getting smarter as times passes by.

Although being smart is not being intelligent which is where we are having problems. Many are dependent on the use of Artificial Intelligence, search engine and other avenues to help themselves out when in difficulties, and this has continued to hinder many to develop and become more intelligent to help them improve in any part of life they choose. The issue being that this era is feeling that everything has been provided them since every question they asked through the Internet are answered, but they forgot to acknowledge that its someone that built the Internet and the artificial intelligence.

I however believed that despite availability of all these information and knowledge which are easily accessible to us, we still need to utilize the opportunities by making sure to use them in the best ways it could be beneficial to us. We can work harder by becoming more smart and more intelligent through taking right decisions , thereby making use of the advantages provided for us through all this change.

In conclusion, our predecessors worked so hard to pave ways for us during their time, because history remained the only source we have to reference back to the heroes 🦸‍♂️ who left marks of legacy during their time. And through what they left, change has continued to occur.
