Happy weekend hivers and friends 🥰💕.
What a topic from #hiveleaners to end the week. An interesting one indeed because forgetfulness is part of human nature since the mind is centered on too many things, sometimes at the same time. And this is why it should be okay if we did forget things once in a while.
I can tell you that the brain 🧠 is the most busiest part of human body, functioning clock ⏰ wise and trying to always make sure things are done according, but how is it that we still forget things and sometimes things that are so important? The answer here is that because we are humans and not programmed robots 🤖 that had been set to function in a way automatically.
And because we are involved and engaged with many things, some important, others less, we most times try focusing on the things we take as priority and allowing others to suffer through forgetfulness.
I suffered lots of forgetfulness during my secondary school days due to how I was always trying to read to cover up lots of subjects but will end up forgetting many areas I covered. So as time went by I started to pay attention to only the subjects I love ❤️. So during revision for up coming exams I will make sure to concentrate on the areas I know I will read and understand very well and will not forget because cramming was not in my dictionary those days.
Many times too I have forgot to follow up arrangements I made prior as concerns work especially during some stressful days in the week due to how some appointments were changed. But this is human nature because how we tries to juggle things together at the same time.
About a month ago precisely, I caused myself some troubles through forgetfulness due to how I had too many things to do in one day. It was on a Friday of one of those stressful week and I had some inspections to carry out with clients. And after the morning inspection which was early enough to enable me meet up with others, I mistakenly left the keys 🔑 of the building I went to inspect on one of the doors after locking others. This happened because I was discussing with my clients while walking them to their car 🚗, and afterwards I left not knowing the keys 🔑 where not with me. I was already headed to other appointments when the principal agent who gave me keys started calling me for keys.
The issue here is that I never knew I did not remove the key from the entrance door. I started searching my bag, all around inside the car and was immediately destabilized and confused. Where the hail could this key be I asked myself? I have always made sure not to encounter key problems because its always frustrating. And because the principal agent needed to give the key back to the Landlord, the pressure was intensified. I was however forced to go back to the location from where I was which took me almost three (3) hours since traffic was already build up. I could not believe myself seeing the keys 🔑 hanging at the door. Just so crazy 😝. It indeed ruined my day totally 💯 because I was not able to achieve all I planned.
This has never happened to me before but I see it as one of those days absent mindedness took over me. And its due to how I was hurrying to meet up with other scheduled appointments. But its okay when things like this happens which brings us back to value paying attention more to our mind and stay articulative.
