Welcome back at my post.
I hope you all had a great week.
Today as you can see the title says it all.
Something miserable happened.

As a photo- and videographer, i'm used to do my work. Shoot at location, come at home, take a rest and the first thing after that is to put everything from my SD card to my hdd.

This day after the shoot, I gave my SD card to my fellow photographer.
He would then transfer the files and give it to me.
So he did transfer and give it on a usb to me.

I thought it was fine, untill the next work where he asked if he could format the memory card. So I told him yes, thinking that all the files are on the usb.
So the day after I wanted to transfer the files to my hdd and guess what?
There was a new folder with the name, but there were wrong photos in that folder. The photos were of another event.
I quickly asked him to recover and do all stuff....

but everything was overwritten..........

We were left with no photos of this event.
So after all trials to recover, I just told the client that we lost all the files.

I offered them that I won't charge anything and offered a free photoshoot.
To get some moments i made screen snaps of my sony video cam.
And here are the photos...
