The Demon Shark Sea Monster

in #hive-1894979 months ago

I've heard that we know less about the depths of the ocean than we do about outer space. I've always wondered what secrets are hidden on the sea floor and what creatures inhabit it. Unknown prehistoric monsters, huge structures left behind by past civilizations, secret research facilities and maybe even abandoned spaceships, these are just a few of the many themes that can greatly influence imagination that I would love to explore in the future.

One of the main inspirations for this creature is a real deep sea shark called goblin shark.
These sharks have a distinctive head shape with strongly protruding jaws and thin, sharp teeth. They can throw out their jaws fast to grab their prey, similar to the monster from the movie Alien.

It's a fascinating world. I loved stories about gigantic squids attacking whales and sinking ships when I was a kid. Makes you wonder what else lives down there.
