To stick or not to stick.
We're back with another look at the Suron Lght Bee X. The one thing I had asked when it was built was that they leave stickers off. I had actually forgotten the stickers at the warehouse and did not notice that they were not in the boxes until later.
We had also purchased a pedal kit at the same time but we had to wait and pick it up later. When everything was in the same place, I ran out to pick it all up at once. I hope I never have to install the pedal kit but if I do, I will do an installation video on it.
In some countries, the police will stop you if it's not actually an electric bike. So, you can install a pedal kit to turn this gnarly looking thing into an actual pedal bike. We have not needed that in any way so far.
And now months later, we decided to install the stickers to brighten up the way the bike looks.
I t was surprising that we had to remove the battery in order to put the stickers on the midsection between the two silver frame rails. Yes, there is a long very heavy battery that slides down into that midsection and it needed to be pulled out in order to put the stickers on the battery itself.
My older son works at the company where these are sold. As it turns out, he has built over 30 of these as part of his job. He loves it!
They just got a shipment of the new Surron Storm and when they get to the warehouse, my son will be building one of those. I'll post about it if I go there.
Until next time..
