Realities and myths of tattoos, well in this part of the world that I know, tattoo is seen and known to be something really different from it's actual meaning.
There are so many myths about tattoos and the people wearing them.
I strongly believe that tattoos are designs and fashion as well as cloths, shoes, and other jewelries. Tattoos are real and the are definitive, it's a matter of what best suits your personality but doesn't make those with tattoos on their body less important, evil, ocultic and whatever you might be thinking.
And for these things comes the myths and reality of tattoos.
The first myths on my list here is
Tattoos cause health problems; in reality tattoos are safe when done properly, people who get any form of health related issue is as the result of improper application to the body, it's has never been proven that tattoos has any health implications especially when done in a sterilized environment, rare cases of allergic reaction occurs because most inks used for tattooing are safe.
Second on the list is
Tattoos are permanent; tattoos can equally be erased, people often think that once you get a tattoo on your body it's sticks forever till you die, well I was once here so no pressure, tattoos already are of different categories, there are ones that can be erased by just some drop of liquid mixtures, although it may take some session but asides that, tattoos can also be removed with advance laser techs.
Third on the list is
Tattoos are for rebels/criminals; I know this has been the top believe over here and this believe has been a strong force which drives an average person's view on tattoos, different people around the world have tattoo on their bodies as a way of personal expression toward what they love, what they believe, what they prioritize. It has never been proven or written that people with tattoos on their body are thiefs and wores.
Tattoos are contagious funny but real, people do believe that tattoos can be transferred from one person to another due to the fear of what ever the believe is the effect of having tattoo on the body, I can remember when I was a child, I always had this feeling that close contact with people with tattoos can be very dangerous, infact I couldn't really figure out why I had that fear and believe but it went on for a long time.
With all said and done, tattoos require proper care for effective healing and to prevent infection when the tattoo is new on the body.
Tattoos as any other write-up fades, yeah tattoos do fade regular expossure to sun light, cause the tattoo to fade, everything has an expiring date, ink quality and aging also determine how long it last.
Tattoos should not be generalized as “bad” people do tattoos for different reasons, some for good and some for bad.
