Hallo,
nachdem ich im Zug ein wenig Zeit habe und eine unverhoffte Muße verspüre, habe ich einige Sachen recherchiert, und werde diese nun mit euch teilen. Vielleicht helfen sie ja dem ein oder anderen.
Android + OpenVPN
Android hat ja seit längerem ein eingebautes VPN-Feature, was sehr schön ist. Leider aber stellt sich heraus, dass das Stock-Feature nicht in der Lage ist, OpenVPN Configs zu importieren.
Dafür ist es nötig, die OpenVPN-App zu installieren. Damit ist dann das Importieren kein Problem mehr. Das entsprechende Profil startet man dann auch über die App. Ich empfehle natürlich die F-Droid-Version.
Übrigens hat GrapheneOS eine deutlich verbesserte VPN-Unterstützung (https://grapheneos.org/faq#vpn-support , https://grapheneos.org/faq#default-connections ), die Verbindung ist verlässlicher und Always On + Leak Protection sind Dinge.
KeepassDX Android AutoFill
Wenn man bei der Keepass-kompatiblen KeePassDX-App in den Android Settings das AutoFill erlaubt, offenbart sich ein sehr spannendes Feature.
Damit ist es dann auch möglich, Formularfelder innerhalb einer App per Dropdown-Menü auszufüllen ( https://www.kuketz-blog.de/keepassdx-magikeyboard-und-autofill-im-android-alltag-nutzen-passwoerter-teil2/ ). Ermöglicht wird das Ganze anscheinend dadurch, dass in einem speziellen Attribut des Passwortfeldes der interne Name der App eingetragen wird, wodurch dem Programm dann die Zuordnung gelingt.
In meinen Tests gelingt mir das Ausfüllen tatsächlich sehr oft, nur beim Registrieren, bei dem "Passwort bestätigen" Feld funktioniert das Feature nicht, was mich zu der Frage führt, wie der Algorithmus überhaupt das richtige Feld findet und ob ich ihm helfen kann.
