Good morning! Finally done with my Day 16 entry for the Zingtober challenge. Again, I decided to apply the Inktober prompts for the Zingtober challenge, and so for the 16th day, the prompt would Grungy.
When I think of the word grungy, what comes to my mind are graffiti art with splatter of paint everywhere. A messy style of art but still in an artistic way.
So here I drew the cute creature Woolio which seemed to have channeled out its creative side with a can of green paint. This is inspired from the pet meme "The Art and The Artist" where the mess made by their pet is jokingly referred to as an art while the pet being the artist.
The Art and The Artist
Woolio, the artist.
I tried to draw the typical expression of pets getting caught from their mess. They can't look you in the eyes and wanted to hide. I also tried to mimic the toy poodle's signature mouth expression.
As you can see, Woolio, with its face and fur covered with paint is sweating bullets because it knows it would get reprimanded once its masterpiece gets discovered. Although it's scared of the consequences, it didn't regret its spur of creativity because it was fun!
[ PROCESS ]
Time: Approx. 4 Hours
Program: Clip Studio Paint
Drawing Tool: Wacom Cintiq 16
Brushes used for this drawing are G Pen and Milli Pen. I also added textures on the floor and wall. I enjoyed drawing Woolio. This creature screams fluffiness. Haha. I also had two drafts of Woolio, you can see it on the timelapse video below, but I decided to draw a front-facing Woolio.
This took me a while to finish because I had to cook dinner and didn't expect the soup I'm making would be exhausting to make. Lol. Also got colds earlier but I'm okay now.
Here's the timelapse video of my drawing process in case you're interested to watch. Thank you! :)
