Hello! It may be November already but I'm here posting my last entry for the Zingtober challenge. Got too busy preparing foods last holiday and I took my time to rest yesterday because my hands and legs hurt a lot. I'm feeling better now though my hands still feel a bit tired.
The 31st prompt in the Inktober challenge is Landmark. I've been thinking what to draw in the past two days but I decided to showcase one of my country's iconic landmark and was once in the seven wonders of the world. The Banaue Rice Terraces. These are mountains carved by hand by the Igorots, an ethnic group in the mountains of the Luzon island.
Healing with Nature
The female forest healer meditating on top of Banaue Rice Terraces.
I drew the female forest healer meditating and being one with nature, particularly on top of a mountain painstakingly carved by the hands of the mountain ethnic group 2000 years ago.
Here's my drawing process:
[ PROCESS ]
Time: 5 Hours
Program: Clip Studio Paint
Drawing Tool: Wacom Cintiq 16
Main brushes used for this drawing are G Pen, Milli Pen, and pointilism brush for the leaves of the trees in the mountains. I also used patterned texture, round mixing brush, and used overlay and add glow blending for the glowing light surrounding the forest healer.
Ah, finally I'm done! 😆 I may not have completed the daily Zingtober challenge but it was nice participating on it. Thank you, Holozing community!🫰🏻
