My family celebrated Father's Day one day earlier yesterday and I almost missed for Father's Day dinner. At 6.30pm, my almost nine-years-old red car suddenly unable to start up. @butwo who was with me at the time jokingly said to me about we have to sleep at my workplace for one night due to this problem.
A kind person nearby approached us and told us that my car might have a car's battery problem. He said the shop selling car batteries nearby my workplace still open until 8.00pm. We thanked this kind person and walked directly to the shop that was suggested. In the same time, I contacted my Sister to inform my family members' at home to ask them to start the dinner without us. However, my Sister said they would be willing to wait for us to celebrate Father's Day dinner together.
My car's battery needs to be replaced 😭💸. The storekeeper is very nice to help us replace the car's battery under the dark sky around 7.00pm. @butwo and I have to switched on our flash light from our mobile phone to assist him in changing our car's battery.
After our car's problem settled, we reached home after 7.30pm.
Nowadays, my Dad always asks my Sister to buy the food he craves outside such as grilled lamb, beef noodles, and other foods he craves. At first, I'm worried as my Dad who is not a picky eater suddenly requests something special for himself. This matter made me remember my late-grandpa just a few days before he passed away doing the same thing as my Dad. In addition, My Dad just recently recovered from sickness.
@butwo convinced me that I shouldn't think too much. He said maybe my Dad was bored of my Mum's cooking.
I think @butwo understood man's problem. My Sister also told me my Dad got secretly complained to her about my Mum's cooks huge portion of meal for him that made him unable to finish it. This also resulted in my Mum scolding him 🤣.
For Father's Day dinner, we bought food from an outside restaurant. My Mum asked me why I shouldn't let her cook dinner. Rather than saying the truth (my Dad is bored with my Mum's cooking), I am giving her another reason for it. In order not to cause my Mum to become more suspicious, I just let my Mum cook one meal, which is corn soup, one of my Dad's favorite food, for the dinner celebration.
My pets usually have dinner next after my family finishes their meal. My cat, Otel likes dog food. My dog, Uku Chan is so kind that letting Otel to have his bowl of his food first and waits patiently behind Otel. As mentioned in my previous post, Otel is older than Uku Chan by 2 years old. Due respect, perhaps Uku Chan just let the elder to have his meal first.
Uku Chan's bowl of food is served by @butwo. I'm asking him why Otel and Uku Chan keep licking their mouths after eating. @butwo replied to me said, as it is special day (Father's Day), so he put cat and dog wets food together into a bowl for them to eat.
I think the cat and dog wet food served by @butwo is not enough for Otel and Uku Chan. They usually go away after a meal. In this case, they stand near me and repeatedly lick their mouths. Maybe they want more of that special wet food from me.
