I tell you that my day was very good and full of activity, as I was on a quest.
My father went to spend a few days in Cuba, my homeland, at my sister's house, and as he is coming, we want him to see his house different. After days of painting and arranging everything well, we realized that he could use a new curtain that would keep out the light for his windows and that would match the colors we gave the house: white for the walls and blue for the doors and windows. So we set ourselves the great task of looking for a curtain with the ideal color and, to get it, we went to the city to visit some places.
Today the weather was radiant; it seems that the rainy season on the island is passing.

Les cuento que mi día fue muy bueno y lleno de actividad, ya que estaba en una búsqueda.
Mi padre fue a pasar unos días a Cuba, mi tierra natal, en casa de mi hermana, y como él está por venir, queremos que vea su casa diferente. Después de días de pintura y de acomodar bien todo, nos dimos cuenta de que le vendría bien una cortina nueva que no le pase la luz para sus ventanas y que combinara con los colores que le dimos a la casa: blanco para las paredes y azul para las puertas y ventanas. Así que nos dimos a la gran tarea de buscar una cortina con el color ideal y, para conseguirla, nos fuimos a la ciudad a recorrer algunos lugares.
Hoy el clima estaba radiante; al parecer, la época lluviosa en la Isla va pasando.
In the city of Porlamar you will always find more options in terms of price and variety; for that reason we went there. Apart from visiting some of the local shops, I was always able to appreciate the beautiful surroundings of the city.
En la ciudad de Porlamar siempre se encuentran más opciones en lo que se refiere a precio y variedad; por esa razón nos fuimos para allá. Aparte de recorrer algunos locales, siempre pude apreciar el entorno de la ciudad, que es hermoso.
Among the places we visited was “Home Center de Venezuela La Casita Roja”, which many simply call “La Casita Roja”. It is located on Circunvalación Norte, Mariño municipality, Nueva Esparta state, Margarita Island. They have a lot of variety of items for a house and for repairs as well, but they didn't have the color curtain I was looking for, so I continued my tour.
Entre los lugares que visitamos estaba “Home Center de Venezuela La Casita Roja”, que muchos llaman simplemente “La Casita Roja”. Está ubicada en la Circunvalación Norte, municipio Mariño, estado Nueva Esparta, Isla Margarita. Tienen mucha variedad de artículos para una casa y para reparaciones también, pero no tenían la cortina del color que estaba buscando, así que continué mi recorrido.
Then, I passed Galeria Fender, which has a few stores open, but I still didn't get the color curtain I was looking for.

Since I didn't get the color curtain I needed, we went to the Parque Costa Azul shopping mall to get cash from the ATM. As I have told you before, the parking lots with the best security in the city have a cash cost; for that reason, you should always carry some cash.
After withdrawing the cash, I went into the Multimax store next door, and to my surprise, I found the curtain I was looking for. It was the perfect color, so I accomplished my purpose. Sometimes those small changes in the home can make a big difference and improve your health and mood.
I feel satisfied to have completed this task and I am sure he will appreciate it very much.
We left for home, always appreciating the beautiful scenery that the island has to show, which is usually great.
Como no conseguí la cortina del color que necesitaba, fuimos al centro comercial Parque Costa Azul para sacar efectivo del cajero. Como antes les he comentado, los estacionamientos con mejor seguridad en la ciudad tienen un costo en efectivo; por esa razón, siempre hay que cargar algo de efectivo.
Después de sacar el efectivo, entré a la tienda Multimax, que está al lado, y para sorpresa mía, encontré la cortina que tanto buscaba. Era del color ideal, así que cumplí mi propósito. A veces, esos pequeños cambios en el hogar pueden hacer una gran diferencia y mejorar la salud y el estado de ánimo.
Me siento satisfecho de haber completado esta tarea y estoy seguro de que él lo apreciará mucho.
Nos fuimos para la casa, siempre apreciando los hermosos paisajes que la isla tiene para mostrar, que suelen ser geniales.
