Hello dear hives, today I am once again passing through this beautiful community of #dailyblog, to show you a beautiful place, always wishing you first of all a wonderful productive and happy day.
My day I assure you was great and to make it so, my husband made every effort to show me a different place that filled me with great excitement and happiness.
After picking me up in the afternoon after work, he took me to “La Aguada”.
Nobody knows better than him how much I love nature and how important it is for me to feel connected to it. So we started our adventure along the Fucho Tovar highway, until we turned into the street called Yaco Carreño and began our ascent through the sector “La Aguada” which is located in the municipality of Arismendi in the state of Nueva Esparta, on Margarita Island.
Hola queridos hives, hoy estoy de paso una vez más por esta bella comunidad de #dailyblog, para mostrarles un hermoso lugar, siempre deseándoles primeramente un día maravilloso productivo y feliz.
Mi día les aseguro que fue genial y para que fuera así, mi esposo hizo todo su esfuerzo en mostrarme un lugar diferente que me llenara de gran emoción y felicidad.
Después de recogerme en la tarde a la salida del trabajo, me llevó al sector “La Aguada”.
Nadie mejor que él sabe cuánto amo la naturaleza y lo importante que es para mí sentirme conectada con ella. Así que empezamos nuestra aventura por la carretera Fucho Tovar, hasta que doblamos en la calle llamada Yaco Carreño y comenzamos nuestro ascenso por el sector “La Aguada” que está ubicado el municipio Arismendi en el estado Nueva Esparta, en Isla Margarita.
The first thing that caught my attention was that this steep climb had parts of the road made of cement because, in times of heavy rains, rivers cross it. The vegetation is very dense, as there are huge oak trees. The views towards the mountains are beautiful, it really seemed like I was looking at a great postcard.
Lo primero que me llamó la atención fue que esta empinada subida tenía partes de la calle de cemento porque, en tiempos de lluvias intensas, cruzan por ella ríos. La vegetación es muy densa, ya que hay enormes robles. Las vistas hacia la sierra son hermosas, talmente parecía que miraba una gran postal.
On the way, we bumped into some young men who were bringing their cattle from grazing and I asked them what was the name of the hill we were climbing. They told me that we were climbing up the side of Copey Hill. What I can assure you is that it was a beautiful experience. The inhabitants of this sector travel in cars, which by the way are very few, and on motorcycles, because no bus goes up this hill.
En el camino, nos tropezamos con unos jóvenes que traían su ganado de pastorear y les pregunté cómo se llamaba el cerro que subíamos. Me dijeron que estábamos subiendo por un costado del cerro Copey. Lo que sí puedo asegurarles es que fue una experiencia hermosa. Los habitantes de este sector se trasladan en autos, que por cierto son muy pocos, y en motos, porque no sube ningún autobús a este cerro.
In this hill there are some houses built in a very typical way. They make a base that is their foundation of stones to prevent landslides when it rains. It is a very atypical way of construction in the area.
En este cerro hay algunas casas construidas de forma muy típica. Les hacen una base que es su cimiento de piedras para evitar el deslizamiento de tierra cuando hay lluvias. Es una manera muy atípica de construcción en la zona.
Making stops as we climbed and appreciating the huge oak trees and wildflowers was an unforgettable experience for me and my husband; he had never seen this natural beauty either, so he made it a point to take me today.
Hacer paradas mientras subíamos y apreciar los inmensos robles y las flores silvestres fue una experiencia inolvidable para mí y mi esposo; él tampoco había visto esta belleza natural, por eso se tomó el propósito de llevarme hoy.
The view of the sierra from that point is extraordinarily beautiful and for that reason I could not fail to share this moment with you.
Apreciar desde ese punto la sierra es extraordinariamente hermoso y por esa razón no podía dejar de compartir este momento con ustedes.
It was time to descend and it was as beautiful as the ascent. As the afternoon was falling a little, the landscape was changing tones. At one point we decided to stop and appreciate the landscape carefully. The temperature felt very cool because of the trees, the shade and the humidity that encloses the wooded foliage of a hill with a good and dense vegetation.
Llegó el momento de bajar y fue tan hermoso como la subida. Como ya iba cayendo un poco la tarde, el paisaje cambiaba de tonos. Decidimos en un punto pararnos a apreciar el paisaje detenidamente. La temperatura se sentía muy fresca por los árboles, la sombra y la humedad que encierra el follaje boscoso de un cerro con una buena y densa vegetación.
In the end, we continued descending and appreciating all the beautiful moments along the way.
Al final, continuamos descendiendo y apreciando todos los lindos momentos a nuestro paso.
