Hello! Dear hives and friends of this beautiful #dailyblog community, I hope you are having a happy start of the week. Mine is being pretty good.
I want to share with you in this opportunity a trip I made with my family to the beach “Punta Arena”. This beach is located in the Macanao Peninsula, in the state of Nueva Esparta, in Margarita Island, and is approximately two hours away from my house.
¡Hola! Queridos hives y amigos de esta bella comunidad de #dailyblog, espero que tengan un feliz inicio de semana. El mío está siendo bastante bueno.
Quiero compartir con ustedes en esta oportunidad un viaje que hice con mi familia a la playa “Punta Arena”. Esta playa está ubicada en la península de Macanao, en el estado Nueva Esparta, en Isla Margarita, y queda aproximadamente a dos horas de mi casa.
The trip was great, and it was always meeting our expectations as all along the way we could appreciate beautiful mountains and amazing views. It was a new and beautiful panorama for us, and that was the idea, to have a great experience different from the usual.
As it is a bit distant, and driving 83 kilometers is not easy, my son and my husband took turns driving, so that it was not tiring and we all arrived rested at the longed-for beach and could enjoy the beautiful scenery.
El viaje fue genial, y fue cubriendo siempre nuestras expectativas ya que durante todo el camino pudimos apreciar hermosas montañas y vistas sorprendentes. Era un panorama nuevo y hermoso para nosotros, y esa era la idea, tener una gran experiencia diferente de lo habitual.
Como está un poco distante, y recorrer 83 kilómetros no es fácil, mi hijo y mi esposo se turnaron para conducir, de modo que no fuera agotador y todos llegáramos descansados a la anhelada playa y pudiéramos disfrutar del bello paisaje.
When we arrived at Punta Arena we were surprised because it was more beautiful than we had been told. It was a very long beach, I dare say one of the longest on the island, and with very fine sand. Being such a distant beach, it is not very visited, but as the island is in season, there were some tourists in the place.
Al llegar a Punta Arena quedamos sorprendidos porque era más hermosa de lo que nos habían contado. Era una playa muy extensa, me atrevería a decir que una de las más extensas de la Isla, y con arena bastante fina. Por ser una playa tan distante, no es muy visitada, pero como la Isla se encuentra en temporada, había algunos turistas en el lugar.
The water was very warm. In my case, usually when I go to the beach, I find it a little difficult to get wet because the water is usually a little cold for my taste, but this beautiful beach is very nice; it makes you want to stay in the water. Besides enjoying the warm water, we got to explore the whole place, to enjoy our stay to the fullest.
El agua era muy cálida. En mi caso generalmente, cuando voy a la playa, me cuesta un poco mojarme porque las aguas suelen ser un poco frías, para mí gusto, pero la de esta hermosa playa es muy agradable; te dan ganas de no salir del agua. Además de disfrutar del agua cálida, nos pusimos a explorar todo el lugar, para disfrutar nuestra estancia al máximo.
We were able to talk to a very kind fisherman who was with his family. He told us that this beautiful beach had one of the best sunsets on the island, comparable to those of Juan Griego. He was not wrong. As the afternoon went by, the horizon became more and more beautiful.
Pudimos hablar con un pescador muy amable que estaba con su familia. Nos comentó que esta hermosa playa tenía uno de los mejores atardeceres de la Isla, comparables a los de Juan Griego. No se equivocó. A medida que fue cayendo la tarde, el horizonte se ponía cada vez más hermoso.
The sky took on various shades: from blue to gray, from gray to orange. It was an impressive change of shades. While we appreciated this process, we always had time to have fun and watch how the small crabs began to emerge in the sand, stuck to the sea. It was a spectacle all around.
El cielo tomó varias tonalidades: de azul pasó a gris, de gris a naranja. Fue un cambio de tonalidades impresionante. Mientras apreciamos este proceso, siempre tuvimos tiempo de divertirnos y ver cómo comenzaban a salir los pequeños cangrejos en la arena, pegados al mar. Les cuento que era un espectáculo por todos lados.
When the sun was almost setting we decided to retire, and my husband drove the whole way, as our son swam so much that he was exhausted and slept most of the way.
Cuando casi se ponía el sol decidimos retirarnos, y mi esposo condujo todo el camino, ya que nuestro hijo nado tanto que quedó exhausto y durmió gran parte del camino.
In summary, our trip to Punta Arena was an unforgettable adventure. The combination of beautiful landscapes, warm waters and family moments made it an experience we will never forget. En resumen, nuestro viaje a Punta Arena fue una aventura inolvidable. La combinación de paisajes hermosos, aguas cálidas y momentos familiares hizo que fuera una experiencia que jamás olvidaremos.
