Greetings dear friends of #dailyblog , I wish you a beautiful weekend. I had a busy few days this week, in fact, it was very intense for me. For that reason, we decided to give ourselves an afternoon of relaxation at Puerto Viejo beach.
This small beach is not very well known and it is necessary to go by car, so it is never crowded, and I love that when I am looking to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle. It is located in the northeastern part of Margarita Island, near Playa el Agua, right next to El Cimarrón housing development.

Esta pequeña playa no es muy conocida y es necesario ir en carro, por lo que nunca está llena, y eso me encanta cuando busco relajarme y alejarme del bullicio. Está ubicada en la parte noreste de la Isla de Margarita, cerca de Playa el Agua, justo al lado de la urbanización El Cimarrón.
Upon arrival, we noticed that there was a lot of breeze, which made the sea a little rough, which was not a problem for us, since our idea was to wait for the beautiful sunset and detox from the stress of everyday life, so we sat for a while to look at the beautiful scenery, then we set out to walk the entire beach very calmly.
Al llegar, nos dimos cuenta de que había mucha brisa, lo que hacía que el mar tuviera un poco de oleaje, lo cual no fue un problema para nosotros, ya que nuestra idea era esperar la hermosa puesta de sol y desintoxicarnos del estrés del día a día, así que nos sentamos un rato a mirar el hermoso paisaje, después nos dispusimos a recorrer toda la playa con mucha calma.
From this beach, looking at the horizon, you can see the Isla de Los Frailes in the distance. It is a breathtaking view. I took some pictures with my phone as best I could to save this beautiful moment to show you.

On the shore of this beach, rather on the sand, there are some boats stored that fishermen leave there because they consider that it is the most comfortable to go out early in the morning to the sea, to do their fishing, besides they know that no swimmer will touch them, it is something that here on the island people know that they should not touch, because it is the working tool of a fisherman.
En la orilla de esta playa, más bien en la arena, hay algunos botes guardados que los pescadores dejan allí por considerar que es lo más cómodo para salir bien temprano al mar, para hacer su pesca, aparte ellos saben que ningún bañista los tocará, es algo que acá en la Isla las personas saben que no se deben tocar , porque es la herramienta de trabajo de un pescador.
We decided to walk the beach from one end to the other and wait for the sunset at one of them, where the beach was interrupted by a small hill. It was very contrasting to see, on one side, the hill and, on the other, the sea. Everything together gave a feeling of deep relaxation.
Decidimos caminar la playa de un extremo a otro y esperar la puesta de sol en uno de ellos, en el que la playa se interrumpió por un pequeño cerro. Era muy contrastante ver, por un lado, el cerro y, por el otro, el mar. Todo en su conjunto daba una sensación de profunda relajación.
As the sun began to set, we took our last photos near the sea and towards the horizon.

We got in our car and drove along the promenade along the beach.
Nos montamos en nuestro auto y recorrimos el paseo que bordea la playa.
We went up to 31 de Julio Avenue to head home, but we couldn't resist the smell of bread from the bakery on the way, so we stopped to buy bread. Then we continued home, very relaxed and with freshly baked bread.
Subimos a la avenida 31 de julio para dirigirnos a nuestra casa, pero no pudimos resistir el olor a pan de la panadería, que nos quedaba en el camino, así que nos detuvimos a comprar pan. Luego continuamos a casa, muy relajados y con pan recién horneado.
