A smaller and beautiful town in Huairou City known as the 'Beifang Town' has been the nearest place I've been visited too many times since I moved to my institute as it is the place for my activity for launch dinner and shopping from the supershop primariliy. It has also become my favorite place for lunch, dinner, and shopping because it's so close—only about 2 kilometers away from my dormitory. With its close location and lovely atmosphere, Beifang has become an important part of my daily life from the late 2020.
I can get to this lessly busy town on my bike in just 10 minutes. Life moves at a slow pace here when I compare to other city areas. There are many people selling a wide range of goods in the town area on the streets also that I have seen but more sellers sells their things in village areas than the town or city areas, from fresh food to vegetables produced by the local people are sold.
One of the best things about Beifang is its busy grocery store. It's full of wonderful things, from everyday necessities to delicious and food items produced locally. It takes me there on a regular basis to look at new goods, and buy food and fruits from the shops. The staff is friendly and willing to help, and the store is always clean and well-organized.
As usual, I went there toady to buy some fruits and vegetables during my dinner break around 6 pm in the late afternoon. When I was returning from the supershop I found the beauty of the sky on the west direction as sun was setting just behind these mountains.
So I can say in addition to being useful place, Beifang gives me a taste of Huairou's natural beauty. There are beautiful mountains all around the town when I look around though these mountains are far from here but can be explored from here, and the views are especially stunning in the spring and fall. The air is also so clean so the view distance was also very far today.
The beautiful sunsets in Beifang have been drawing me in. As I rode back towards my institute with my bike from the store, I couldn't take my eyes off the sky on the west as it was so attractive at that time of the day. The clouds were gathering on the western horizon, making a beautiful show of light and color. The clouds, the mountains, and the fading light all came together to make a truly amazing scene.
It made me think of how easily beauty can be found in everyday things near you. So, I have taken these photos surrounding the town from different location and different angles on my return to my institute. Truly, it was a great evening with different exploration and new beauty of nature.
